We've moved to north Asheville, near Reynolds Mountain. It's a nicer location, in many ways, although it doesn't offer as many amenities. We really miss the art gallery, but it is in our plans to bring it back as soon as we can.
We're now located at 201 Stoneridge Blvd., sharing office space with Healing Touch Massage. We've got some lovely neighbors, with two dining options, if you're interests lie along the lines of Thai food or burgers. It feels very safe, well lit, and welcoming.

Monday, June 13 saw the celebration of the work of Janet Bray, the artist whose work  will be on display through August. Janet works in a number of artistic media, including watercolor, acrylic, ceramics, Russian Nesting Dolls, and botanicals. Her work is inspired by nature, primarily focusing on animals and plants.
The open house was attended by many, who viewed the art, socialized with each other, and got the chance to meet Janet, Lauren, and Art Director Patricia Veatch..

Award-winning artist Patricia Veatch has agreed to serve as WNC Counseling's Art Director. Patricia was the inaugural artist at WNC Counseling when the doors opened in early 2016.
In this role, Particia will vet the artwork on display in the gallery for appropriateness for the space. She will also coordinate logistics with the featured artists, helping guide their expectations, and assisting with displaying their art work in the best manner possible.
Welcome Patricia!

WNC Counseling and The Mind Body Connection, sponsors of Highlight Art Gallery, are pleased to present an exhibition of paintings by Sharon Sandel.
A reception for the artist will be held on April 27, 2016 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Please join us for cuisine and libations with Sharon.

Sharon works in traditional oil, acrylic, and watercolor mediums, and loves exploring new ways of using these materials. Her work is inspired and delightful. Time spent split between Weaverville, North Carolina and Vero Beach, Florida is represented in the distinct environments present in the content of her work. Her love of play of light on water and scenery is beautifully reflected in her pieces.

The exhibition will open on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 5:30 and will be on view through Friday, June 3, 2016, by appointment only.

RSVP required to attend, 828-782-3388

While most Americans struggle with weight, we are bombarded with diets, programs, and special products. The result? We're heavier than ever.
Join us as we share what we've discovered, and explore ways to explore approaches to our food choices, so we will be satisfied, yet happy with the healthy choices we make. See us every second and fourth Wednesday at this Meetup.

Every first and third Wednesday, I lead a group of people seeking to unburden themselves from clutter, while maintaining their lives. See what this meetup is all about.

What a blast! On February 8, 2016, Hope, Kelly, and I hosted a grand opening celebration, with a Mardi Gras theme.
What fun, thanks ESPECIALLY to the more than 50 people who visited and stayed, enjoying the company, Mardi Gras music, and great food! We ate lots of jambalaya and other goodies, but the big hit was the two incredible king cakes donated to us for the celebration, shipped in overnight from Haydel's Bakery in New Orleans. Thanks to all those who made it happen, including my co-host, Mind Body Connection Massage Therapy, and featured artist Patricia Veatch.

Every couple of months, I lead an all-day workshop on how to deal with life's clutter, and how to get it under control, with minimal wrestling.
